What does "HON" stand for?

I am well aware that this post has little to do with the purpose of FT. I, as a linguist and part time historian, just wanted to ask the people who are involved in this forum to be of help, since a Google search returned nothing. We all know that "SEN" stands for Senator, far removed from the U.S. title and quite a historically important designator used in the old Hanseatic League, still used in Hamburg, Luebeck and Bremen for example. Luft[ B]hansa [/B] took part of that history when they started operations. A casual run through all the forums causes me to ask the question here what the "HON" designation with LH means. Honors, Honorable, Honest? The thesaurus claims that it means erect, but we have done that for quite a while, haven't we? Any suggestions?
Once I receive replies, I ask the moderator to close this completely unimportant thread. Thanks.
