I know that in the end, its really whats acceptable to me as a cost justification, but was wondering what other people consider as an acceptable cost. In a search of the forum, the last time I could find this topic was back in 08 timeframe and about .05/eqm was listed as 'good', but I also know that airfares have gone up a bit since then. At least I know that my business travel costs have gone up significantly since then.

Don't mess with the UA flyers they are still living in the sub 3cpm world. As a UA flyer 5cpm is only acceptable if it achieves an almost reachable target. 9-10cpm then I'm not flying anymore because that is above my holiday flight threshholds. Shoot for 4 to 4.5cpm and watch the main mileage run deals thread.
