I have a full Y e-ticket on AA that I might not use. I use to be able to take the paper ticket over to any airline and use it to purchase a ticket. How can I do this with a e-ticket ?</font>
You'll be able to do this (and already can with many carriers) because the interline e-ticket agreements allow other carriers to treat your e-ticket just like a paper ticket. It is already the case that you can use you AA e-ticket exactly like a paper ticket at UA, DL, NW, and more.
