I once somehow lost my keychain with all my keys at DFW. I had a very expensive Tiffany keychain on it. I never saw that keychain again. You would think that someone would turn in something important like keys to lost and found but I am sure they took it for the keychain and threw away the keys. I spent two weeks trying to recover those keys to no avail.

I would like to believe in the good will of humans but after that experience I'm a little jaded. I think anything of value to someone and your odds of recovering it are slim. However, once on a flight my girlfriend left her purse on board. An elderly man ran through the terminal and chased us down to give it back to her.
