Welcome to FlyerTalk. Nice first post, but paragraphs do really help your posts to be much easier to read. We post on this topic quite a bit. I'm guessing the large woman didn't bother to pay for the $15 (or whatever the cost) upgrade to get into Economy Plus yet didn't want someone reclining their seats. It's unfortunate that people act this way in public.

I'm guessing the people who get stuck next to the lady probably don't like her mass spilling over into their space either, but they're probably too polite to point that out to her.
