And for the Citi card that would only decrease it by 5K or less (not down to 5K) just to free up some since I'd like to get the new card but don't need to have a large line and know that a major reduction in credit there would have a great impact on credit score since I've had this card since '91 and have been paying the annual fee on this card since inception until just this year when they "generously" waived it (tongue in cheek) since I never got any bonus on this card when I opened it. Haven't churned other cards since November and all have since been closed for a while.
I'll just sit tight until Tuesday and see what they have to say. I've got nothing to lose.
