Sorry, that's incorrect.
Switzerland is a Schengen country.
CO should arrive in the new terminal (1) as all Star carriers do and Swiss leaves from there as well. OP has to go through immigration there, customs will be in ZRH (checked bags)
Assuming this is all on one ticket, I would definitely do it, LX has several flights a day between those cities and I am sure they will put you on the next flight. The new terminal in BCN is easy. I would not dare to do it on two seperate PNRs as LX has no obligation to put you on the next flight because your incoming flight is late.
