The only airline to earn on for this sector is AA via LAX. There is no direct service. I had the same dilemma in May...

We ended up using Southwest at a bargain price of $150 return and I just forgot the miles as it would have been minimal for such a short hop.

I would go with Southwest again without hesitation for the ease and service.
