Forgive me if this has been asked & answered but I couldn't find it and I'm a bit of a novice. If there's a link I should just read, please let me know.

- Planning a trip PHL-IST. I have enough miles (120k) for off-peak Envoy PHL-MUC only. Then MUC-IST is a cheap codeshare on LH I want to just buy. Does this have to be done on the phone? CAN it be done, or do I have to book it as if it was 2 separate flights? I really don't want to have to get my luggage, etc. to change planes.

- Will I earn miles on the MUC-IST leg if it's all one itinerary?
