Only way they might release this info is if you made the booking on your account, e.g. Aeroplan. But then you would know the details anyway.

I just had a situation where i was travelling on same Canadian domestic flight (different PNRs) with my friend from China whom I had booked a reward trip on my Aeroplan account and I had a paid trip. When I got to the airport in Calgary, I asked the concierge if he had made the connecting flight from YVR-YYC OK and she confirmed he had.

I agree with AC's policies of restricting such information except in circumstances such as the above where it is clear that you are the owner of the information as well.
