Yes, there is a privacy screen between the E/F seats; at least when I last flew in July :-) After all, even the new J class have such screens.

However, the screen is not raised/lowered, it is extended/retracted from between the seat backs; it isn't too big, but it gives sufficient privacy so that passengers do not see each other's faces... although toes are another matter due to the 78" pitch ;-)
