I stayed at a Doubletree last week on my husband's account. It was clear the reservation was just for me - note on the certificate saying "gift for wife". It was a point stretcher award, no upgrade (not important), but I got a breakfast voucher, free internet, and a 1:30 checkout. Surprisingly, it also showed up as a stay on my husbands account. It was a nice surprise.
