Just watched again at the cinema the brilliant "Merry Widow" (1934) by Ernst Lubitsch.
The small kingdom of Marshovia has a little problem. The main tax-payer, the wealthy widow Sonia has left for Paris to entertain herself and might not come back.
She is thrilled by the idea of having dinner at Maxim's, a drink at Café de la Paix, and staying at Le Grand Hôtel next to the Opera.
