Well, I'm not special, so I didn't get that 60K offer. I'm looking at the Chase page for this card that I read about in Marshall Jackson's travel blog:

https://www.mychasecreditcards.com/5...tner_PCR_Visa2

I currently have a Marriott Premier (black) card from Chase. This has an annual $65 fee, but the fee if easily offset by the value of the annual free night at a category 1-5 Marriott. Both my wife and I have these cards, and we do make use of those free nights (1 for each of us). We only have 6 months from the receipt of the e-certificate to use it, so we have to be careful.

The Priority Club free night tickles my interest. If we each had an account, that's 2 free nights annually.

From the T&C on the Chase page:
- Please allow 6 to 8 weeks from your account anniversary date each year for the Anniversary Free Night e-certificate to be emailed to you.
- Anniversary Free Night e-certificate is valid at hotels in the Priority Club Rewards Family of Brands and must be redeemed within 12 months from date of issue. Free Night e-certificate reservations may not be made at All Inclusive hotels. Free Night e-certificates are valid for one standard room night rate and applicable taxes only

So this means you've got a full year to use the Priority Club e-certificate. Since I'm not familiar with the Priority Club hotel brands, can someone please explain at which of the hotel chains I'd be able to use the certificate. It does not apply at "all inclusive hotels." Does that mean that the Intercontinental chain is out of the picture? What about Crowne Plaza? Would the certificate only be good within the USA, or might it be possible to use it at international locations?

With Marriott, I know how to look up the hotel categories. The Chase site says that you can use this certificate at 4,400 hotels worldwide. Is there a way to look up or search which hotels would accept the certificate? In other words, I'd want to be sure that I really could make good use of the certificate before taking a plunge on this credit card.

Thanks.
