Greetings FTers from SkyClub Narita. Flight was uneventful once we pushed back. But it was touch-and-go for a few seconds there. We pushed back pretty much at the last minute that would have made the rest of the flight crew time out.

The captain apologized profusely for the mess. He announced that all pax would be given Delta flight vouchers upon arrival at Narita. The agents downstairs don't know anything about it. But when I checked my email, I had a modest DL voucher waiting for me.

I'm much more excited about the rebooking. I'm now confirmed on the continuation of DL 281 to SIN, and confirmed on SQ 970 to BKK tomorrow morning. If we arrive around 4:00 am in SIN, I'll have a roughly 3-hour transit there, time for a little refresher at the SKL, I hope. And that will put me in to Bangkok just in time to catch my separately ticketed flight to Siem Reap with Mr. Megatop. I'll miss a night at The Peninsula tonight, but I'm not altogether worse for the wear.

Serious kudos to Delta DM SMS for handling the rebooking efficiently without many hangups. I'm on a mix of an I fare (for ATL-NRT) and an M-fare upgraded with an SWU (for NRT-BKK). I've been rebooked in Business for both the NRT-SIN and SQ SIN-BKK flights. ^^
