However, the authenticity of the software and cartography is open to question. The units themselves are very well made, and are very convenient for travel.
Pardon me for asking but are you worried about the battery issues? I've been toying with getting these units to play with but have been concerned about battery instability issues (heard fatal cases of exploding battery units).
