Regarding row 31 on 777, AA.com booked wife and I on row 31 but placed our kids on row 32. Nobody question it but the FA informed us that it should not happen. No family member should be in an exit row with other family members in a non exit row. We didn't have to move as we found this out just before landing. Make sense to me now, but I hate to give up that extra leg room!
