The attendant gives me lopsided sneer. "Well, she's pregnant," the woman says defiantly. "And she really wants to sit in 2A."
OH. MY. GOD. This has got to be the biggest head-scratcher I've ever read on FT.
As soon as that agent tried to make me look bad in front of other people, I would have ended the conversation immediately by demanding a supervisor. There is no reason for a pregnant woman --
who is already one of the relatively few fortunate people on this earth ever to fly in international, overseas F -- to need a
specific window seat, too. (Remember, she specifically wanted 2A, not just any window seat!) And the agent should be FIRED for embarrassing another F passenger in front of others. Period.
