About 30 minutes ago, the FA announced that the flight for today was cancelled and a duplicate flight will operate tomorrow, everyone should get off the plane and see a gate agent about hotels or the ticketing desk for rebooking.

Then we got off and were told to stay in the gate area because the flight may operate today after all. They just need to find another pilot. The crew is okay, they just need someone who can fly the airplane.


Then the gate agent said they would clear the plane and put us all back onboard, where we should sit tight for half hour or so.

Now everyone is lined up to get back onboard. More gate lice than you can shake a stick at.

I wonder if they told us to get off because they were afraid of being fined for keeping us on the plane on the ground for more than 3 hours, even though at the gate with the door open.

Snafu has become fubar.
