I've also had good experiences with REI outlet, Backcountry.com, and Steepandcheap. The latter is especially good if you know what you want and are patient. I got a ton of stuff over one year a while back just checking whenever I felt like it. The caveat is that you have to know more or less what stuff is... often can't afford to do too much research.
