Marriott Customer Support (Plat line) not allowed to call hotels for upgrades??
Does any one noted this recently... I called the Plat line and request if it will be possible to call the hotel for a family suite upgrade... For my surprise the cust. rep. mention that he is not allowed (by management) to called hotels for upgrade request. In the past this has not being a problem... Any thoughts?
I have also been very successful calling the hotel directly a day prior arrival and voila receive my upgrade over the phone
