Very dumb question, how do I know if I'm in the main hotel or the overflow hotel? I was reading the thread but I missed it...
I think the answer is
(a) do not rely on the email confirmation you received
(b) go to the Holiday Inn web site and look at your reservation online. Look beside "Rate Type" or "Rate Description". If it says "FT Chicago Overflow" (emphasis added), then I think you are in the Overflow hotel. Otherwise, I would guess that you in the Primary hotel (HI).

Can anyone definitively confirm what I wrote?
