I used to keep a few cans of beer in my rollaboard all the time before the War On Liquids. Only once did I end up with can that got punctured with something else in my bag. Even thought the cans were in a plastic hotel laundry bag, I still had some leakage. I tried using a product called Febreeze to get the beer smell out of my bag, but it ended up smelling like Febreeze and beer.
