You are correct it is not clear from the sticky thread, if you also noticed, that sticky thread also doesn't get a lot of response as there are only 2 pages since the beginning of the year (8 months).

I would suggest next time look thru other threads that someone asking for suggestions about what to do, or start your own thread, as this board doesn't generate a lot of posts and visitors in the first place. And there are only a few locals who post often about any real time up to date information. (I borned and raised in HKG, but currently living in ORD, still go back to visit parents often)

My best advice is to look at the Hong Kong Tourism website and then if you have further questions about different places, start a thread and ask one of us.

I fully understand the risks of following an outdated sticky. I have a bunch of those I moderate on the Hawaii forum and I'm sure it's happening there. It's definitely our fault for following. So hopefully this is a good clarification post for others reading the sticky thread. And looks like its already helped at least one FT'er.
