Delta "One App. One Million Miles" SweepstakesOfficial Rules
No Purchase or iPhone® Ownership Necessary – A Purchase or iPhone Ownership Will Not Increase Your Chance of Winning a Prize.
1. Register To Participate Via The Delta iPhone “App” (I.E., Application):
A. Receive an initial Entry by successfully downloading the Delta iPhone app and logging Into your SkyMiles account: Beginning 12:00:01 AM, U.S. Eastern Daylight Time (U.S. EDT), on September 1, 2010 and ending 11:59:59 PM, U.S. EDT, on September 29, 2010 (“Promotion Period”), you can register to participate in the One App. One Million Miles Sweepstakes and receive one (1) entry by successfully downloading the Delta iPhone app onto your iPhone, and logging into your SkyMiles account via the iPhone app. Follow the instructions provided at delta.com/downloadapp and your iPhone, to download the Delta iPhone app. Please be prepared to provide your SkyMiles account number when prompted (if you do not yet have a SkyMiles number, see Rule #3 below). Limit one (1) Sweepstakes registration and initial SkyMiles login entry (using a Delta iPhone app) per person/SkyMiles number.
Any subsequent Delta iPhone app downloads completed during the Promotion Period (either a reload of the app on the same iPhone or installation of the Delta app on another iPhone device linked to the same person/SkyMiles number/account) will not generate additional Sweepstakes entries.
B. Receive additional Entries by checking in to flights with the Delta iPhone app while logged into your SkyMiles account: After you have successfully downloaded the Delta iPhone app as outlined above, you will receive one (1) additional entry into the Sweepstakes, each time you use your Delta iPhone app to log into your SkyMiles account and then check-in to a flight during the Promotion Period.
Note: If you successfully download the Delta app, login to your SkyMiles account (as per 1A above), and then immediately proceed to check-in to a flight at delta.com during that same iPhone session, you will receive both an initial registration entry (as per 1A above) and an additional check-in entry (as per 1B) for that iPhone session (2 entries total). All subsequent check-ins, as outlined in 1B above, will generate one (1) additional entry into the Sweepstakes.
C. Weekly Drawings: On the date a Delta iPhone app entry is generated (as outlined above), that entry will qualify for the current Weekly Drawing and any subsequent Weekly Drawings (if not already a Weekly Prize Winner). Please refer to the Weekly Prize Drawing Chart in Rule #4 below, for the Delta iPhone app entry Deadline for each Weekly Drawing. All eligible entries also qualify for the Grand Prize Drawing.
2. No Purchase Necessary:
To enter the Sweepstakes without owning an iPhone, using the Delta iPhone app (if you own an iPhone) or flight purchase/check-in, legibly hand-print your complete name and address with zip code, area code and phone number and the last four (4) digits of your SkyMiles account number, on a 3" x 5" piece of paper. Mail your entry in a hand-addressed, postage-paid, (#10) envelope to: Delta One App. One Million Miles Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 6727, West Caldwell, NJ 07007-6727. Mailed entries must be postmarked by September 30, 2010 and received by October 6, 2010 to qualify for the Grand Prize Drawing. Mail-in Entries received by a Mail-in Entry Deadline listed in the Weekly Prize Drawing Chart, in Rule #4 below, will qualify for that Weekly Prize Drawing and any subsequent Weekly Prize drawings (if not already a Weekly Prize Winner).
You may enter as often as you wish via mail, but limit one (1) entry per stamped outer mailing envelope, mailed separately. No copies or reproductions accepted.
3. To Obtain A Skymiles Number:
If you are not already a SkyMiles member, visit delta.com/skymiles or call 1-800-323-2323 to join SkyMiles (no purchase is necessary to obtain a SkyMiles number). 6. Prizes:
One (1) Grand Prize – One million Bonus Miles awarded under the SkyMiles program, plus $10,000 awarded in the form of a check (Approximate Retail Value – $30,000). There will also be ten (10) Weekly Prizes awarded in each Weekly Drawing as follows: (5) First Prizes {one (1) per week} – Apple Gift Card for $599.00 that Winner may use to purchase a 16GB iPhone 4 (ARV – $599.00); Five (5) Second Prizes {one (1) per week} – a Plantronics Discovery 975Bluetooth device (ARV – $129.00); Twenty (20) Third Prizes {four (4) per week} – a $50 American Express pre-paid gift card (ARV – $50.00); and Twenty (20) Fourth Prizes {four (4) per week} – a $25 iTunes® Gift Card (ARV – $25.00).
