My last three phones have been HTC and all have worked albeit they had major weaknesses. After 10 years with Sprint, I'm ready to bail as soon as I find a phone I like (Moto Droid X is looking real nice)
Well I bailed on AT&T (or will officially in the next couple of days once I port my numbers) because after 10 years with them I was sick of crazy expensive plans and crappy phone selection (assuming you aren't interested in an iPhone.) Just playing with the EVO for a few hours tonight I already know that it's the best phone I've ever used. I'm aware of the battery life issues, and I'm not bothered by whatever lag there is (haven't really noticed it.) Coming from the phones I've been using the past few years this guy is light years ahead. I'll certainly make do for 24 months.
