Hmmm. WMD’s not dangerous. Hmmm, interesting “perspective”.

Once again, opinions vary. I know I’m not going to change your mind, so I’ll just leave it at I know a bit more about the subject than you seem to. So, you are more than welcome to your opinion, and I to mine.

Lets see, I have a job. That job is to do my very best to safeguard the flying public. I have a bunch of equipment, training, and experience to assist me in doing that job, as well as the full resources of the federal government to assist. I am one, and only one, part of the system that keeps the flying public safe. There are many thousands of us who do the same job, and many more thousands who provide support in one form or another to that very same end.

I am proud of who I am and what I do. I know I make a difference, despite the inane and ignorant rantings of some of the public. I like the people I work with, and the passengers I work for. I genuinely enjoy meeting them, talking with them, interacting. There is nothing in any of that to be afraid of. Nor am I giving up any liberties that any other employee of any kind gives up. I don’t need to “suck the marrow” out of life, l prefer to enjoy life rather than struggle with it. I don’t see it as a fight but as an adventure. I’m happy with what I do, and that is all that really matters.
Thought TSA's job was to keep WEI off of airplanes.

Mission, Vision, and Core Values

The Transportation Security Administration protects the Nation's transportation systems to ensure freedom of movement for people and commerce.
Sure don't see anything about keeping people safe.

Seems you may not be as well versed in your job as you think.
