I just checked into the Hilton Dubai Creek and was given the letter and explanation about free Internet for Gold and Diamonds. Internet access used to cost AED 100 per day, which is somewhere around USD 30.

However, having stayed at this hotel about 30 times in the past 3 years, the Internet speed has never been as slow as it is today. At 3 in the morning, it took me 15 minutes to download a 2MB email. So maybe this is not as great as it seems. They probably only bought bandwidth to support the average number of paying users, and now that same bandwidth is open to all golds and diamonds.
