Was check in quick and efficient? It was difficult for me to check in due to the slow computers in the YYZ MLL the day prior. Eventually got it to work at the YEG MLL; however, I would not say it was a particularly easy or efficient check in
Did you use priority security (if eligible) and if so, was it quick and efficient? N/A no line ups
Did you use the Maple Leaf lounge and if so, any feedback in regards to service, food and drinks? Yes, liked the fact that the new EnRoute Mag was available in the YVR lounge. Coffee & bread was good
Was priority boarding offered (if applicable to your status) and efficient? Yes and as long as one is near the desk it is efficient, otherwise forget it!
If there was a delay, did the gate agent provide timely updates? Push was supposed to be at 8:00, did not happen until 8:10. No announcement, but I assume it was from cargo loading since I could hear the noise underneath.

Were the crew professional & well groomed? Yes

Was the IFE activated on the ground? Yes, BUT there were no foam ear covers loaded or available on plane. J passengers had to put the pastic earphones on their ears for the cross-Canada flight. What was strange is that no traditional ear bud type head sets were offered as a substitute. This rendered the entire IFE either useless or uncomfortable for the entire J cabin.
Was a pre-departure beverage offered on the ground? Yes
Did crew offer to hang your jacket? No, I hung it on the hook in the Suite
Were newspapers & menus distributed and meal orders taken (Please specify when meal orders were taken - on the ground or in the air)? Newspapers on ground. Menu in air, 25 minutes after push back. Meal orders taken in air, not by status, from front to back, left aisle and then right.
Did crew offer a hot towel prior to the meal service? Yes
Approximately how long after take off did it take for the first meal service to be completed? (From takeoff to all items collected) Tray served 50 minutes after push back, less than 1.5 hours start to finish. Cookies and ice cream 1.5 hours prior to landing
How was the quality of all the meals? Same as yesterday's breakfast. Had the omlette this time, it was actually pretty good.
Did the cabin crew continiously top up the beverage of your choice throughout the flight? Yes

Overall experience/any other comments Overall it was the most anticipated (being a 777) yet disappointing of my 5 flights. There seemed to be a huge disconnect between the SD and the FA's. Only 1 sole FA opened up all of the screens in J for the safety video. Most passengers missed the first 1/2 unless the opened their own screen. Many passengers in the forward cabin complained of the overwhelming warm temperature. FA replied "we've told captain..." The lights in the cabin were not dimmed for the entire flight. Even with the window shades down it was difficult to view the IFE, with the emphasis on VIEW since we could not hear it the IFE. I will say that one FA stood out amongst the rest. I personally mentioned this to her and don't think it would be appropriate to name her publically so I have sent Andrew a PM regarding this.
