I have BofA Amex and MC for at least 3 years. I responded to their offer CH75OL1 regarding a $75 bonus for opening a new checking account for existing BofA credit card customers.

The fine print says "You must use the Offer Code CH75OL1 and fund your account with the $125 minimum deposit requirement within 30 days in order to qualify for this offer."
The initial attempt to debit the money from another checking account failed. I went to a branch within the 30 days and deposited $100 at the atm. Realizing that this is not enough, I returned to the same atm and deposited $40 that same day. This was still within the 30 days.
I just received a letter stating that I was denied for the promotion.
The first rep I spoke to says that the offer is for a "$125 minimum INITIAL deposit" and when I made the first ATM deposit the $100 counted as the initial deposit.
I called back and filed an escalation request with a second rep. I take issue with the fact that they chose to post one type of wording on the actual offer that's presented to the customer-which makes it sound like you have 30days to make that deposit- and then pull out their internal offer terms which have the magic word "initial." I wanted to have them send me the actual terms of the offer in print, which the rep is being very evasive about.
