Appreciate all the viewpoints here.

I’ve decided I’m going for DM this year simply because I want to see it for myself. Some appear to think it’s worthwhile, some do not. No two people, however, have the exact same travel patterns, so it’s hard to know whether it will benefit me.

I’m a retired, primarily-leisure traveler who takes lots of flights each year, usually in LUT…domestically, TATL and TPAC. I’m simply curious to see what benefits come my way as a DM.

I likely won’t be able to sustain it for a second year (and will need to take a couple MRs to get there this year), but I know I can get back to PM in 2011.

It’ll be interesting.
