Still had the Japanese meal on the third daily flight NRT-HNL I flew last Saturday. (Had it, as always, it was excellent.)

However, didn't have it on SIN-NRT (perhaps because it's an early morning flight? just had some pretty unappetizing early breakfeast choices, and then no lunch, nothing the 6-7 hours later prior to 2pm arrival - really poor IMO), nor on NRT-PVG (that only had a sort of Korean dish, pretty bad).

I guess still have Japanese meal on cross-Pacific, but not on intra-Asia flights, even if it's a long (7+ hours) flight like the ones to/from SIN.
