You know, when I saw this thread I immediately thought of Ellerman House. But, I could have sworn that, since 2003, when I stayed there (sadly "romantic" stays at hotels are no longer on my work/kids/etc travel agenda), it had gone private and closed to the public. I'm obviously wrong.

That said +1 from me on Ellerman House. Can't say anything about the "Villa" part of it.
