I have taken the JFK-HEL flight on a few occasions with no scheduling issues, the translantic service on AY in Y is better than AA. (Read Free Booze)

As far as MRTC being better ... well AY has 32" pitch on their MD11 and AA has 33"-33" pitch on the 777. AA has better IFE, vs the MD11 (no in seat video) but the IFE I enjoy is the free booze! Meals on AY are pretty decent as well in Y.
