It's not the worst, but certainly had to be a record for number of mechanical cancellations in a row.

Connecting ATL-CLT-ORD. In CLT, made my connection on time. After 45 min, plane change due to mechanical issue. Got on new plane. After another hour, cancelled due to mechanical issue. Rebooked on the 7am the following morning. Before boarding, they cancelled it due to mechanical. Next 3 or 4 flights were booked solid, so they rebooked me on the 1pm flight. I eventually got on an 11am United flight.
