If you are flying out of IAD you should try the Lufthansa lounge as a *G as well. I'd bet it would be better than RCC. I was impressed with the President's Lounges at EWR, not so much with the RCC lounge in PHL. I am partial to our own lounges though.
I thought I'd need a *A International itinerary to get into a *A partner lounge like LH. Since Virgin Atlantic isn't *A, I was going to hit the RCC because I *should* be able to get in there based on my paid US club membership. If I'm understanding the subtleties wrong, please let me know! I've heard the LH lounge is quite nice so I'd not mind checking it out; just didn't think I would get access.
