You're probably referring to the soft landing rule which is what got me confused.
So if I understand correctly, if there's not at least 1EQM in my account as of 31/12/10, I drop down to Ivory and thus all my miles go poof on 01/01/11.

Thus I have to take a requal flight, except the cutoff date is 31/12/10 and not 20 months after my last paid ST activity.
