Flight cancelled, room charged, no points
I had a guaranteed reservation with a HI property. Unfortunately the aircraft developed a problem. That resulted in a long delay and missing of the connection. I had a guaranteed and prepaid reservation at a HI property and called to tell them I would not be able to make it. They were unwilling to budge and did not refund anything. Fine, those are the rules. Now I do notice that the stay shows up at a non-qualifying stay with 0 points awarded. Do I have any recourse?
