I'm staying five nights at the Courtyard Xujiahui next month and I'm concerned about contracting a disease from contaminated hotel water. It amazes me that a country that has made such vast improvements in its economy over the past three years would not have solved this problem. Can anyone shed some light on this possible upcoming problem and how to remedy it? I'm guessing that one of the first things I'll need to do upon arrival at the hotel will be to run to the corner store and pick up ample bottled water.
