I made an award reservation (Andaz Wall St) for late September (called Diamond Reservation line). I asked for Double room. During the reservation agent first said there is no availability for a double, only king. But then immediately said "Oh but you're a Diamond member, so you have guaranteed bed type". So he booked the "available" King award, and requested Double room (I guess both preferences requests and made a note in the reservation along the lines "Double room requested as diamond guarantee benefit".

The question is, will this work? Meaning, will I get the Double room?
