Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forum and have spent all morning trying to get more information and really havent found much. I've read a few topics on this forum that seem to help but I'm still a little confused.

I'm flying out of LAX United airlines (terminal 7) this friday morning (11:45am flight). Because of my work schedule, I should be at the airport by 10am-10:30. Im worried that I wont have enough time to clear TSA security check points because everyone is telling me at least 2 hrs is needed especially on a holiday weekend. So i'm trying to compensate by finding the best checking section to go through. I've noticed a lot of people mentioning going through terminal 6 security, but from my understanding that is a premier line only? My friend and I are just flying economy, with no check in luggage, just carry on's and want to be sure we do not miss our flight. Neither of us have used LAX in over 10 years since we normally fly out of burbank airport. So any help you can give me will really be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

oh and im not too familiar with all the abbreviations on here so please speak in layman's terms (thanks again).
