I am wondering how it takes 14 hours SFO -HKG, and 15 hours and 26 minutes ORD -HKG, but that same distance from ORD to SFO needs 4 hours. Is the answer because they fly opposite direction, e.g, trans-Atlantic vs trans-Pacific?
