Let's keep it real, shall we: If all the facts were known, I don't think JAL would still be in business by now...
Anyway, like you I'm still interested to find out the real story behind those "undisclosed aircraft orders". Pretty strange for a publically listed company that was on the verge of bankruptcy to hide a whole batch of aircraft orders on (or off) its books, don't you think?
That's why I was so surprised to see last week's news about those 65 new aircraft orders...

Check Boeing's website, there are lots of unidentified orders and they will later identify them when the time is right (if it's not an order from individuals I guess...). It happens all the time.
And there were not that many unidentified orders from JAL before Jan 19 2010. I don't have the exact numbers, but should be less than 10. Those are probably part of the compensation deal JAL got from the 787 delays. Again, not fact, just my guess.
