I was already very interested in once again using the Intercontinental hotels globally. With this new round of promotions I thought I would energetically give it a try. I have not used priority club hotels in many years so I am obtaining a status match to Platinum.
It appears this Crack the Case promotion is geared toward getting light users to much more heavily use their hotel --my situation. I called a csr to obtain an invitation and link to the CC promotion. Advised that they are indeed basing their formula off past usage and that they had a chicken and egg problem with enrolling me because I had no recent past usage to base that formula.
I was thinking of registering a couple of quick stays and then reapplying. Anyone have any thoughts/experience with this dilemma?
