Well ,not only Jal but most of the eastern airlines had been running under losses and route cuts and staff cuts is the obvious reason to refine profits..

The another carrier from Japan Nippon airlines had also stated to cut the routes and retrenchment in coming months in order to cover losses that had occurred in the period of recession.

On the other hand some middle east Asian airlines had remarkably announced the route expansion and more recruitments like Emirates,Etihad,Qatar airways and Saudi were on huge profits this fiscal year.
