This will be the first time I am spending significant time in FLorida during hurricane season. I am booked to go home on JB from SRQ - JFK for later this fall, but just wondering what, if anything, JB does when there is a hurrucane forecast to hit in one of their destinations.
For example, there is only one flight SRQ-JFK, and it if pretty much full every day. If a storm is due to hit here & people need to get out, there's no way there will be room on that one flight. Do they send extra planes & make extra flights? Wht do they do about cancellation fees for flights scheduled but then not taken due to an evacuation?

Hopefully, nothing will hit us this year, but Ya Never Know.
