It's just annoying that there are always people coming here asking "how do I get free stuff?" w/o ever spending more than 10 min researching or contributing. By posting it on a public blog is just giving them easier access to information that they didn't spend any time/effort on.
I'm glad it's been taken down and that's fine if mrpickels wants to talk about it at the DO. That's a few hundred people who are specifically interested in the miles or points game, not posting it for millions to see who will just abuse it and ruin it for everybody.
LOL this whole argument could be made for the coin deal in and of itself. Most of us would never have known about it if someone hadn't shared initially (thanks gatzdon). Being able to circumvent the order limits by adding authorized users to your CC was a very obvious technique to try. Everyone who is worried about repercussions from the Mint is off the mark in my opinion. It is the credit card issuers that we should be wary of and there is plenty of evidence in this thread that they are taking more and more notice to our activities described here. My thought is have fun while you can, before the CC issuers (not the Mint) shut us down!
