Does anybody know how accurate continental.com's seat maps are in terms of flat-bed vs. regular BF? In other words, when I bought my ticket (EWR-HKG) the seat maps were showing flat beds. I realize there is no guarantee on that route, but do they display one seat map vs. the other with the intention of using that type of configuration? Since I don't have any experience other than this one ticket I bought (and I'm not flying until Saturday), I'm wondering if they even sell tickets and display a standard BF layout, or if it's always flat-bed layout. So if you bought your ticket looking at a flight that was clearly showing a flat bed config, is there a greater likelihood that they intend to use that layout for the flight (barring any unforseen swaps)?
I suppose any information people have would be more anecdotal than statistical, but it's better than nothing (I'm very impatient, and having a hard time waiting until Thursday to find out).
Also, wasn't 006 supposed to be getting converted recently/currently. Is it done yet? Really hoping for better probability of getting flat beds here...
