I am confused of the luggage allowance as are the BA ppl. One CSA told me that I have 1 free bag allowance listed on my ticket as a Silver. I can't find where this is written on the ticket. BA online help said that my luggage allowance is dictated by flybe (no free checked luggage). Looking on some review sites, ppl who booked via BA said they were allowed 1 free check luggage as a Silver. But this was after much discussion at the desk.

Anybody know/have any experience with this?
I fly this route all the time, but rarely with hand baggage and then probably on a Flybe ticket, so I'm not perfectly based to answer, but: Flybe attaches no import whatsoever to your BA status and it confers no benefits. If you have a baggage allowance (and reports indeed are that you do, if you can access it ...) it will be because the BA-booked ticket comes with it.
