anyone who scuba dove in the carribbean in the 70's and early 80's has hundreds of horror stories.

a guy and his two sons left raotan the day before we did. we caught up with them at san pedro sula. in le ceba, a group of armed men forced them off the plane. they spent the night in the airport and flew to san predro sula the following day. they called the plane for new orleans for them to catch their next plane for arizona. we were also on that plane, and started to get on quite a bit later, but my cigars from duty free were not at the door. stewardess told us that was the miami plane. we caught the correct plane. they went to miami.

dca-mia-bon got cancelled in mia. so we were put on a later flight to cur. there was no flight scheduled to bon, so they pulled out one of those tri islanders, and flew some 15 or 20 of us over to bon. total travel time about 27 hrs. when it came time to leave, we were told no record of us being on bon, all our reservations had been cancelled, and we could not leave because we were not there. took two days of delightful bon bimini attitude by staff to get us back to states, they routed us by way of cur, haiti, dominican requblic, ft myers, and finally dc. with 4 plane changes.
